changing climates and world ending
Currently there are many changes in our climates and weather and not so long ago there were predictions of the world coming to an end on the 21st of May. There have been floods,earthquakes,volcanic eruptions,tsunamis in the past 5 months. Some have assocaiated this with the theory that the world is coming to an end.. whats your view on this?

I think it's only natural for people to see the current changes as testament to the theory that the world is coming to an end.
ReplyDeleteAfter all, this helps us get away with a multitude of denials; seeing the ongoing global disasters as "God's way" is much easier than taking responsibility for what we as the human race have done to our planet.
So, my opinion is that the world is not coming to an end; we have no way of truly knowing when that will be. But we can be damned sure that what really is happening is our fault.
It's not Armageddon, we've just messed up. We need to start taking individual responsibility here.
wow that is so true Belle. thank you for commenting. you highlighted some key points being that we need to take individual responsibility. many say changes are due to ending of time but the fact of the matter is that it is primarily due to anthropogenic influences.. which is us humans increasing the carbon emmission. be it by our vechicles, waste, urbanisation. we indeed do need to start taking full responsibility for our drastic climatic changes.
